For the past 15 years, I have taught English/Language Arts for middle and high school students. Through the years, I have had experiences teaching in classrooms with special needs students to more gifted AP and Honors leveled students.
My varied teaching experiences have helped me shape classroom activities that support independence in my students, through structured lessons, based on current reading and writing strategies. My focus is always on the enhancement of my students' critical reading and explanatory writing skills.
