TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching 8th grade U.S. History for 6 years with on-level and Pre-AP students in a large urban district in Houston, Texas. I also teach two sections of the AVID elective. This helps me to incorporate collaboration, inquiry, and organization in my History classroom as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to flip and blend the classroom when possible, but mostly I love telling the stories of History with my students.
