Hi everyone! I have been teaching for 7 years now and I can't imagine doing something else! I teach at Selwyn House, an all-boy private school in Montreal. I went to present my workshop (explained below) in various conferences and I love meeting other teachers with incredible ideas!
As a francophone and a French and Histoire teacher, I felt like I was locked into the traditional way of teaching a second language and history. However, I had the chance to go to the Association of Experiential Education conference and there I learned strategies that I adapted for a classroom setting. I used my students as "guinea pigs" and surprisingly it worked like I never imagined it would! I love Experiential Ed!

I graduated from Bishop’s University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts, and in 2006 with a Bachelor of Education. For the past six years, I have taught in Independent schools, the past five of those at Selwyn House.
I created a workshop about how to adapt experiential education to a classroom setting. I presented it in a couple of conferences such as the International All-boys School Coalition in 2012 in Melbourne, Australia and QPAT conference in Montreal, Canada.
