I have 2 years of teaching experience and 2 years of homeschooling. I am passionate about making sure that each child gets the resources they need in school to succeed.
My teaching style is determining the specific needs of each student and providing them with the tools they need to be successful. My own son is Autistic and I became a teacher because he had difficulty mainstreaming. My goal is to help other kids like him, succeed in a public school setting.

I went to high school in Garland, Texas. Then I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from St. Mary's University. I went on to get my Law Degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. I then went on and obtained my Texas Teaching Certificate.
I left law to teach because as a single mother watching my son fail in public school, I felt the need to get involved and make a difference in the education field in Texas. I am happy to say that my son is now thriving in public school and I enjoy looking for ways to innovate instruction for my 2nd grade students.
