TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been a secondary-level teacher for the past 26 years. In that time I've taught English at every level from 7th grade through 12th grade( honors, AP, College Prep, and English remediation) in both private and public settings. I have a credential in music as well as English, and at one point even taught a little computer science and math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to be flexible in my approach to the classroom. I believe it's important to keep things fresh, and to adapt my instruction from class period to class period, if necessary, to meet the needs of my students. I believe students should feel comfortable, safe, and inspired in my classroom, and I work hard to achieve all three.
