TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 23 years of experience as an ESOL and alternative school teacher at the secondary level. I am currently teaching history and government classes.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am adept at making materials accessible to students who are not in a traditional classroom. The majority of these students have Sped and/or ESOL accomodations. These students often have to work independently (with a roaming resource teacher) because the classroom includes students at varied levels who are working on a variety of subjects. I also make whole class lessons from time to time so that students have opportunities to engage in broader learning with their peers.
