TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I became a special education teacher in 2003. I have taught resource math and language arts for the past 10 years to middle schoolers. Before becoming a teacher I was a probation officer for the State of North Carolina in Montgomery and Guilford Counties for 13 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style depends on what I am teaching and to whom I am teaching. I try to keep everyone engaged in the lesson and show the students how to solve the problem with the least amount of work. I encourage my student to come up with cheats to help them complete the problem.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have former students that are attending colleges and universities in North Carolina including one that is playing football at East Carolina University.
