I am a mother of three, from two years to 21 years old. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education Technologies and was a preschool teacher for seven years now. I dabbled with substituting all grades fro three years and worked in a daycare setting a lot of my teenage life. I am presently a director over a preschool and still have the habit of completely engulfing myself in any and everything teaching.
Children need creative structure. Every child needs structure no matter what environment they are in. When teaching children, they need to be able to have fun (adults as well) while they learn. Material is retained better when you enjoy yourself, but repetition is the key. Always be honest with the children, the parents and yourself. Any and every place and moment is a learning moment.
I refuse to fill out this field correctly. Honors and awards do not make a person. Too much plays into getting honors and awards. Some people that deserve do not get, and some that get do not deserve.
Majored in Early Childhood Education Technologies and minored in Psychology and Sociology.
