TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm currently a Math and Reading Resource Teacher in a school district in Berks County, PA.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try my best to use a constructivist with my older students. With my younger students, I try my best to use hands on learning, where we have a lot of fun while learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I once won an award for "funniest speeches" in my college speech class. Yes, I did a speech on medical alert buttons and I fell and "couldn't get up" I know that isn't relevant to my ability to provide you with fantastic educational resources, but I hope it does give some insight into my great sense of humor.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I recently graduated from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, where I studied Elementary Education in regards to grades 4-8. I also got my certification in Pre-K - 4. Before that, I went to SVHS, where I had an English teacher who was the basis for a character on 30 Rock. Yes, that is a true story.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love reading and spending time being creative. I personally do a lot of community theater, which allows me to get plenty of ideas for my reader's theater scripts.
