TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching in Claremore, Oklahoma for 4 years. I am a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Social Studies education. I am certified to teach 6-12: US History, Geography, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Government and Oklahoma History. I have taught 3 years of 7th grade Geography, and 2 years of 8th grade Gifted US History. I am also the Academic Team Coach at the Junior High.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a firm believer that if you allow kids to express their individual strengths and talents in the classroom, then all children can be successful. My classroom could be best described as controlled chaos. I want students to always be smiling in my classroom and having fun. When you have fun, learning happens!
