TEACHING EXPERIENCE

In my 6th year of teaching but my 4th year with Middle School students. I absolutely love it! I spent my first two years teaching in inner-city Milwaukee, WI and fell in love with the students. The needs were high but the rewards were much higher. I moved to upper WI and took on the challenge of changing my teaching from elementary to middle school. I currently am teaching in a Special Education resource setting with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the areas of reading, writing, english and math.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is creative, hands-on and differentiated. My students are challenged with many types of projects and assignments. I also am a firm believer is provided options for each student to choose how to complete a piece of work so that they are successful. I believe with the right instruction and attitude towards your students, the gains will be huge!
