My teaching career has been geared towards scaffolding kindergarten and first grade students. I have a strong passion to educate young minds and help them blossom into well-rounded, responsible and successful individuals. Throughout my career, I have worked with English language learners, students living in poverty, and children with special needs. Based on best practices and current research, I have successfully differentiated instruction to respond to the varying learning needs of my classroom and my students.
Hands on and engaging! I've used the workshop model with great success and add "a little bit of Disney" to entice young learners.
