TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 3 years of experience in education. I've taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in addition to a physical science course. I am currently in my 4th year of teaching. I am a member of the Instructional Leadership Team as well as the grade level lead teacher. I have led collaborative plannings with my science colleagues. I am the First Lego League Coach at my school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my classroom, learners construct new ideas by engaging and inquiry based STEM lessons. My classroom is student-centered, and I act solely as a facilitator. My students are tasked with investigating their way out of scenarios or real-life based problems.
