TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Writing is a daunting task for many students. From literary analyses to research essays, personal narratives to poetry explications, some students struggle to write—to fill blank space with the right words. However, writing is a welcomed challenge to me. Not only do I love writing but I am also passionate about sharing my love for writing with students!

I'm a demonstrator! I like to model skills and concepts to students and monitor their progress, providing feedback along the way. My leadership style is that of a pacesetter in the classroom

I have over four years of experience working as a classroom teacher and over five years of experience working as a writing tutor at the university level. As both a teacher and a tutor, I've learned it's not about what I know as the instructor but about how I can share that knowledge with students in relatable fashion.
