TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 11 years and I am currently the Reading Specialist for my school. My hope as an educator is to provide developing readers and learners with practical tools that will help them successfully meet high expectations.

I developed and implemented a writing curriculum adopted by our first grade team. I also developed a supplement to our reading curriculum that includes practical reading strategies for emergent readers.
