TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been volunteering in and around schools for most of my life. This year I have been in teaching practicums and have had both primary and junior experience to add to my experiences in junior grades in co-op placements in high school. I have been teaching for about 6 years in a variety of capacities and will be continuing to teach in classrooms, now that I have my teaching license in Ontario.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is a mix of all styles really based on what my students need. I combine hands on with visual and written for the most part.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have been published in an editorial book, "Believing in Greatness", for writing an essay on Thomas Edison and his inventions.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a BA Honours in English Literature and will have a Bachelor of Education in June.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a huge believer in teaching with passion, showing those kids that you care about them no matter how hard they don't want you too! I come from an education family and it is engrained in my blood to try to help people. :)
