TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in public and private schools in an urban and suburban setting, and at an environmental education center. I previously taught a plethora of hands on environmental science activities at an environmental education center that caters to 3rd-8th grade school groups from several states. I have taught AP Biology, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Environmental Science Classes for almost 10 years. I am about to embark on a new journey into teaching 6th grade general science. I hold teaching certificates in Georgia and Alabama for 6-12 General Science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to address a variety of learning styles and abilities in my classroom. Typical lessons are presented in lecture, hands on activities, labs, case studies, and discussions.
