I have been teaching drama to students and adults for the past 10 years. This has been both as a theatre company putting on shows, as an extra curriculum subject as well as going into classrooms using drama as a way to explore different themes. It was during my time in Vienna, while working at an international school, that I began to develop Wonderland - Interactive Storytelling. I wanted a program that was ideal for 3-5 year olds. As I developed this course I was astounded at the results. As it is all about the story and not about a performance, I watched the shy and introverted students really come out of their shell, while the students that constantly wanted to be centre of attention stepped back. It was about the story, about the characters and about the message. Running this course over a couple of years also allowed me to see the difference between those students that were in Wonderland at a young age to those students that jumped into drama classes at the age of 6. Wonderland students were able to work together, think on the spot, articulate ideas, tell stories and let their imagination fly. While Wonderland is developed for students aged 3-5, it can also be adapted for 6 and 7 year olds as well as Special Needs Children.

After finishing my Higher School Certificate in NSW Australia I did my Bachelor at the Queensland University of Technology in Creative Industries Drama. I continued training as an actress in London. Later I did my Masters in Professional Practice.
I'm a trained actress but about four years ago I moved into directing writing and producing. Apart from working on films I ran a theatre company, taught drama to children as well as adults, worked in childcare and gave workshops in Europe and Australia.
