I've taught 8th, 9th and 10th grade English, AIG classes, remediation courses, and have tutored at the elementary, middle and collegiate levels. I've been a substitute teacher in all grade levels, including special needs settings, and have worked at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I was in charge of building and overseeing the SOAR Ambassador Scholarship and Leadership Development Program.
I like to guide my students towards making their own learning discoveries using hands-on and inquiry-based lessons.

Keep in touch on Instagram @Words_With_Woj for my new interactive products and hilarious teacher moments! Aside from being a bookworm, I enjoy being active and spending my time outside. I can often be found at the beach soaking up the sun, kayaking or paddleboarding. I also enjoy Crossfit, biking, and running. My other free time is spent with my friends, checking out local comedians and live music around town.
