TEACHING EXPERIENCE

The Work and Play, Day by Day creators are a husband and wife team with over 20 years experience as classroom teachers, program administrators, curriculum designers, authors, teacher trainers, and homeschoolers for our six children.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We are a Montessori inspired team! We aim for laid-back, easy to integrate, lessons and materials for the homeschool and elementary classrooms. We believe in concrete hands on learning that goes deep into subject matters for maximum authentic learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Heid is a contributor with the Mom Bloggers Talk Montessori ebook, available through Living Montessori Now and Montessori at Home. She is also the author of two parenting books, due out from Peanut Butter & Grace Press in 2017.
