TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my eleventh year working in the public school system. I am currently a K-2 Lead Teacher, specializing in reading instruction. I assist teachers with instructional practices, perform fidelity checks on different aspects of teaching, and teach professional development on Reading Workshop and the Common Core State Standards.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in a balanced approach to literacy and a hands-on approach to math. Our school is currently implementing Reading, Writing, and Math Workshops.
