I have taught in a variety of settings including high school French and Spanish, middle-school world language exploratory classes, and French language immersion elementary. I currently teach Spanish for grades 1-6 and French kindergarten.
I teach in a style focusing on the four modes of communication: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. I phrase objectives for lessons in terms of "I can" statements so that students can understand what learning goals they should have for each lesson.
