I am the Director of Online Learning for the Division of Continual Learning at UNCG. A former Associate Producer with the CBS News broadcast 48 Hours Investigates, I earned a Masters of Education in 2005. In that same year, I received the Guilford County Rookie Teacher of Year award for my innovative instructional strategies. Today, I promote student-centered learning for the online classroom, juxtaposing the latest web technologies with pedagogical best practices.
I let students help me decide what kinds of things they want to teach after I let them know what has to be taught.
