I have been in education for the past decade, tutoring students while pursuing my degree in English and later teaching students English Language Arts while pursuing my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
My teaching style focuses on students using basic concepts like graphic organizers to help them lay a foundation for the enduring understandings they need to master state standards. I love to incorporate collaborative learning, even in a digital format, and to let students get creative and interdisciplinary with how they demonstrate their learning.
