TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My professional experience includes 20 years of classroom teaching, 15 years of pedagogy advising to teacher candidates and classroom teachers, and 10 years of curriculum writing. I have a comprehensive knowledge of Earth Science, Astronomy, Life Science, Biology, Physical Science, and Spanish. I have extensive leadership experience as a department chairperson, collaboration with school classroom mentors, and as a school-wide representative for instructional staff. In addition, I have successfully worked as an independent contractor for educational consulting firms. I am bilingual and am fluent in Spanish and English.
