MY TEACHING STYLE

I absolutely love teaching students one-on-one and in small groups. I get to see them in their purest most brilliant form. I love teaching with technology, designing student-centered and engaging lessons.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

My rewards come when after many days of teaching, reteaching, and review my students finally get it. When I witness the "light bulb" go on for them, that's my greatest reward. It makes all my hard work fulfilling and I get the most honor from them. That's what matters most to me.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Prior to teaching K-2 Science and first grade I was an Assistant Principal intern for two years, while taking graduate coursework in Educational Administration, as I was deciding whether to pursue becoming an elementary principal. Then after receiving my Master's degree in Ed Tech, I got the opportunity to become my school's Technology Coach, while doing my teaching job as well. These were the most challenging, yet rewarding years of my teaching career.
