I adapted this project/unit for my graphic design course, I originally created a similar unit for an illustration class with limited computer access, this one is adapted for Adobe Illustrator! This lesson expands on the live paint tool and is great if your students are used to using that tool from a Low-Poly assignment. After converting the fills into their own shapes, students work on adding SHADOWS, HIGHLIGHTS, and TEXTURE to their characters and their illustration!
