I've created six different posters for the 6 simple machines. They are designed on 11x17 PDFs and can be printed in color for a dollar at most print shops. Each poster has a title (Wedge, Screw, Inclined Plane, Wheel and Axle, Pulley, Lever), a drawing with annotations, a short description, arrows to display purpose, and a real-life picture to connect it all. All students' eyes are going to wander eventually, let them wander to something interesting that they'll learn from! Subliminal teaching!
