This resource is great for students studying biogeochemical cycles. Students sort through terms related to either the hydrologic (water), carbon, nitrogen, or phosphorus cycles, group them by cycle, and then draw in complete models of each cycle. This lesson allows for flexibility by scaffolding each cycle but requiring students to add in additional information, such as reservoirs, sources/sinks, more processes, etc. in order to make complete cycles.
