Want to start the year learning about your student's baseline ability and mindset. This worksheet is designed to be a formative assessment for the first day of art class. It allows the student to give input on their beliefs about art, show some creative thinking and create a drawing before any instruction is given. I keep these for this activity for the entire year and return to students at the end of the school year for them to compare where they started the year to how far they have come.
