This is a one page quiz with an answer key provided that gives examples of movements, and then requires students to determine which of Newton’s 3 laws of motion best match each of the examples.
This could be used as a quiz after teaching the lesson of Newton’s laws, or as group and class practice together.

I originally used this with a fifth grade class.
Hello! This is a four question, plus a bonus, quiz on half sheets in Microsoft Word. It has an answer key. This is designed for a quick "flashback" after watching the video and should take less than 10 minutes to take and go over the answers. I use these in my classroom after every Bill Nye The Science Guy DVD that we watch. I grade it by making each question worth 25 points and the bonus (which never counts against you) worth 10. These are great to leave with a substitute!
This assessment can be used as a quiz or test on the stages of the water cycle. Students will show their knowledge of evaporation, precipitation, condensation and runoff. States of matter including changes from liquid to gas (water to water vapor) and gas to a liquid (condensation) are included in the assessment. A word bank is included for fill in the blank questions with water cycle vocabulary.
This quiz assesses the basic science skills/knowledge of observing, inferring, predicting, and identifying variables and controls. Questions are also asked about the five senses. Great review for a state test or beginning-of-the-year unit!

I made this quiz to assess students' understanding of density. The quiz covers what is density, how do you calculate density, density in different states of matter, and comparing densities.
Simple 4-question multiple choice assessment in which the student is given a scenario and asked to identify the independent variable, dependent variable, control group, and constants. Can be easily used as a formative assessment, or class activity.

This quiz can be used to assess students on their knowledge and understanding of the states and properties of matter. There are various question types, including: short answer, multiple choice, search and find, visual (drawing) response. I used this during my initial science unit at the beginning of the year.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of the three states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas using written, matching, sill in the blank, and multiple choice questions.
