Elementary students learn about the works of Paul Klee and the art movements he was part of: Expressionism, Cubism, and Abstract art. Students will recreate his  Castle and Sun (1928) work using a collage of colored construction paper cut into shapes and glued to a background. This project was originally designed for 1st and 2nd grade, but can be adapted to all elementary levels. It takes about 2-hours.
