Using our sensory table, or a small tote, filled with water, we made predictions about what items would sink and which would float. After predictions were made, we tried the items out in the sensory table and discussed why certain items didn't behave as we expected (floated when we thought they'd sink, remained semi-submerged, or floated when we thought they'd sink). We moved what we'd predicted to what actually happened then glued them down with glue-sticks.
