Two vocabulary sheets: 1) Blank on both sides for students to fill in
2) Pre-filled on one side, blank on the other
The way I use these is that one side is filled in and the other is blank. Students should use the blank side to study for quizzes. The filled in side is a resource for classwork.
For other languages, you can delete the Spanish and write in the vocabulary in the target language. I also use these same pictures on quizzes and classwork to practice.

La meteo - Reading comprehension questions to accompany a weather forecast
These questions can be used with a simple weather forecast downloaded or viewed on your local weather network's website. I chose Paris as the destination, as my students are very keen to learn about Paris and this activity will allow them to understand the weather differences between their location (Canada) and Paris.

French Adjectives PowerPoint using Famous people
This PowerPoint presentation introduces the questions “Qui est” and “Comment est” and shows students how to appropriately ask them and answer them using well-known figures. The presentations reinforces descriptive adjectives (grand, petit, fort, etc.) and has lesson suggestions in the comments of each slide. The presentation also recommends a final project the students can complete to assess understanding.

Nothing fancy, but three pages:
1. Chart with some physical descriptions and an image to label at the bottom.
2. A modeled 'Guess Who'/'Qui est-ce' which culminates in them presenting orally for the class to guess.
3. A sheet to fill out descriptions of three people for a partner to guess.
Sheet #2&3 can be done by just describing people in the class, or I use the free QUI EST-CE document found here.

Qui suis-je?
I always do a short unit on food with my students and they love this game. After going over vocabulary, I play Qui suis-je with them using the powerpoint that is included. Once we play together, they need to chose an item of food and write sentences describing that food item. When they are done you can get them to go up one by one and see how many classmates can guess their item or get them to walk around the class and guess. Lots or fun, good oral activity.

St. Patrick's Day Math Worksheet
I saw another teacher use this model for a worksheet, so I created and translated my own so that my Spanish speaking students could use it. It is a great way for students to visually see "10 partners". You could also have them reverse it for subtraction.

This is a power point of the story with pictures, a true/false activity and an extension activity which asks students to create a comic of the story or of a story of their own creation.

Qui suis-je?
A back to school or end of year activity. Students anonymously fill out the sheet and once done, the teacher assigns a number to each student's work. They then post the sheets all around the room and students do a "gallery walk" reading each description and writing their guess of who the student is on a separate numbered sheet. Take up the activity by revealing each students' number and whomever has identified everyone correctly, wins.

This can also be turned into an infogap style activity with the use of French prepositions to discover what is in each persons suitcase. One student leaves the room. The others will choose a classmate to describe what the student is wearing. The student who left comes back in and has to guess which classmate the others have chosen by asking questions about his or her clothes.

Fast Food - Trouvez quel'qu'un qui...
This document includes a sheet of questions that each student will get. The aim of the game is for the students to find someone who likes each of the fast food restaurants on the sheet. The students ask each other the questions and must respond using the response written on the sheet. The first person to have all the boxes filled out is the winner.
This activity is great as a diagnostic tool and for students to use their oral communication skills in French.
