This is a great introductory activity for grades 3-5 in STEAM. It promotes problem solving and teamwork and hits on the Engineering Design Process in a reflection. Students will receive challenge cards and simple materials (on rubberband with strings and plastic cups) to complete the task with little directions. There are added challenges to increase the difficulty. This is a great way to get kids thinking critically and working as a team in your STEAM lab!
