I created these specific instrument challenges for each of our middle school band sections and by grade level (5-8). You can adapt and change this template as you see fit. The goal is to create some competition to motivate the students to practice specific skills outside of class. I award gold/silver/bonze stickers for the winner of each challenge. At the end of the year, the student in each section with the most wins receives a gold/silver/bronze special coin!

This project was created for my high school digital photography class. Students use digital cameras to take pictures of numbers in the environment around them such as at home or at school. Students can take photos of a series of numbers such as 1-10 or 1-20 or a more creative series of numbers such as their phone numbers or zip code. Students then download the photos onto a computer and use a photo editing program such as iPhoto or Photoshop Elements (or an online program like picmonkey.com)
