The chart is very simple to use, if the child does well in the 15 minute time span then they receive a star. After so many stars in a row (I usually do 3 stars, but it is up to you) then the child receives an immediate reward for their behavior. RTI Behavior Intervention Checklist (weekly)
This is a weekly checklist for your students who are on RTI behavior OR for your ESE students wtih BIP's. I use this with most of my ESE students who need a Behavior Intervention Plan. The 2nd page does not have the periods listed, so you can write them in or write in specific classes. I usually give my students a reward if they earn all 2's at the end of each week!

Worry Monsters
Many children have worries. To help children cope, adults can encourage young children to draw or print their worries and in turn externalize these challenging emotions. With the children and families that I work with, we like to draw our worries on "Worry Monsters." The worry monsters can then hold onto the worry so that the child does not have to. This is one aspect of OuTcomes Therapy's Calming Kit. We will be posting more items in the coming weeks to help children calm, regulate and focus.
