Erin's Law Presentation
It is state law in Illinois and at least 19 other states that each year every student in grades K-12 will receive instruction defining sexual abuse and ways to get help. Science: The Making of Ice Cream vs the Freezing of Water
This lesson covers the freezing temperature of water and how it can be altered to lower the temperature at which water freezes. In doing so, students perform a lab to make their own ice cream. It also allows students to measure using a graduated cylinder and triple beam balance. Measurements are made in metric units. Also included are questions, a graph for students and several questions regarding the lab. There is also some ideas for extension activities.
