Lesson introduces quadrilateral characteristics including parallelograms, rhombus, square, rectangle and trapezoid. Slides prompt students to identify all names of a quadrilateral with the most specific name in red font. This increases in difficulty as the slides progress. At the end is a review of other polygons, including pentagon, hexagon, octagon and decagon.

I generally have students play in teams and write down their answers to the questions for each round. Then each round is scored and points tallied.
