Write From The Beginning Flow Map for The Lion and The Mouse
After you read the Story The Lion and The Mouse, your students can illustrate the three major events and then form an opinion about the story. Have the students tell each other the story using the flow map. I even have my students take a photo of their flow maps and record themselves orally telling it on Seesaw. Finally, we write three sentences (or four if they write their opinion) using the map. It is an excellent way for young kids to organize the major events of a story and practice retellin
