This is a lesson on experimental design. The students are given a scenario involving crickets and Bisphenol-A contamination. They are directed to use Odds Ratios, percent calculations, and t-test in order to acquire data and come to a conclusion. A computer program with microsoft word and microft excel is strongly recommended but not necessarily required. The calculations can be done by hand using a calculator. I recommend using at least 2 days for this assignment to do it correctly.
