Animal Research: Orca Whales

In this activity, students will become animal experts as they research fascinating facts about Orca Whales. This project helps students build early research, note-taking, and informational writing skills while learning about one of the ocean's most incredible animals. It's perfect for science, ELA, Or animal-themed unit. We paired it with reading Whale of the Wild by Rosanne Parry. We also checked out books about Orcas from the library and did online research together.
