This fun project on consumer topics originally created to be used as a "holiday shopping project". It has now been made generic for any time of the year, but is easily customizable. It is a great way to assess a unit over percent proportions. Students use the percent proportion to calculate discounts, taxes, tips, percent off, and original prices. Students create a final product which can be displayed. A rubric is included. Tax rates in the Katy, TX area are utilized but can be customized
