I have students use this as a way to review main topics before a test or quiz on the Causes of the Civil War. Students pick topics from a list to make into a meme and then provide an explanation to describe how their meme relates to the topic. You can also edit it to fit any topic by replacing the terms! Students then put their memes and explanations into a Google Slides. They always enjoy this assignment and I present a Meme Award for the best memes submitted.
