This is a project idea I came up with for my high school Horticulture I students. I began the lesson teaching them about the Rose Parade in Pasadena, CA, then explained to them that the floats are covered entirely with natural materials. Next I showed them floats from parades past and then explained to them that they were to complete their own mini-float for a project grade. They worked individually to groups of 5.
