This is a great resource for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teachers. This activity can be used as a group activity, partner activity, independent practice, or it can be used as a quiz. In the left column, students write a multiplication story (word problem) that represents the equation. In the right column, students solve the word problem using a multiplication strategies such as equal groups, number line, array, or repeated addition.

This Mulitplication Challenge can be used to quiz your students on their multiplication facts. Print the quiz on the front and print the answer key --upside down-- on the back of the paper.
