This is an organized way to keep track of cold and hot fluency scores. Included are two different graphs depending on where your reader is with their reading fluency. I let my students color in their graph on their own using a blue color for cold read, and a red color for hot read. This is a great visual for students on their progress!

Want a real-life application of large numbers? This activity has students locate information in a text and organize data in a data table.  Students practice writing numbers in standard form and word form as well as use inequalities to compare populations.  Students can also obtain practice setting up a graph and then accurately plotting data to visually see population differences.
