I use this fun review activity before tests or quizzes or after I finish a unit. Students are told to form a team of 6 people. These 6 people then sit in a row so that they each are sitting behind one of their own team members. The first person is given the sheet and completes the problem named "Question #1". After they answer it, they pass it back to person 2 and they answer "Question #2" and so on. This continues until the last person answer the last question. Then they pass the paper back up

I have used this activity as a warm-up or a formative assessment. Students work in pairs or independently to match equivalent degree measures and radian measures. There is a space for students to show their work in the center. To hold students accountable when working in pairs I have them use a different color pencil and take turns showing their work in the center column.

If you like this activity, please take the time to rate it and leave a comment. THANKS! Students will vote thumbs up or thumbs down on a variety of graphs or equations that ask them to determine if it is a function, if the inverse is a function, or if the inverse that is graphed is a function. Great formative assessment that helps clarify when to use the horizontal line test or the vertical line test.

The students must "grade" the quiz and correct any problems with incorrect answers. This forces students to think critically and analyze work. Also, this can lead to a good discussion about what kinds of errors earn partial credit. You may also be interested in: Rational Exponents Chain Activity Equations with Rational Exponents Stations
