Introduction
I made this exercise to encourage improved math operation calculation speed for first graders (specifically my daughter). It should be used after children are already comfortable with addition at a slower pace. I branded this activity an event in the Math Olympics to make it a fun challenge for kids.

This is a sample page from the math facts fluency challenge that I give my 3rd graders. There are 8 levels in all. This first level tests students' addition math facts to 20.
You can use this as a timed test, or just simply as extra homework practice. The file is an Excel worksheet and can easily be edited so YOU WILL NEVER NEED ANOTHER addition math facts worksheet again. to get an entirely new set of 50 problems, simply change/edit any cell (even a blank one). Practice adding integers and a picture is revealed. This is a self-grading/checking assignment. Kids get immediate feedback as they solve adding integer expressions. First Grade Common Core Math Spreadsheet
This is an excel spreadsheet that helps you track your students' progress on the first grade common core math standards. In the white sections of each grid you can type in a number 1-5.
