Decoding Math Problems Guided Notes & Practice (Decimals Emphasis)
There's something about word problems that everyone just seems to dread. I find myself pairing down my tests to the bare bones to minimize student anxiety, but at the end of the day, context problems are where they will encounter decimal situations the most! This guided notes and practice page encourages students to utilize the CUBES acronym to make sense of problems and solve them with accuracy! I hope this resource helps your kiddos tackle those tricky context problems.
